CHOPS FOR HIRE:

Whether you have a band, a showcase, a musical production, Rock'n'Roll, R&B, Rat Pack Tribute, Unplugged SuperSession, here's a 'go to' player that can hit the groove, soar on the solo, accompany the choir or the torch singer with a selection of styles and gear to suit any sound that you're after, on stage or in the studio.

Baz is a regular guitarist with London vintage Rock and Soulers, The Zoomerators, deps on bass or guitar for the fabulous Roadrunners, tutors at the top drawer Felix's School of Rock, plays acoustic guitar with golden throated Gordon Mark Webber's Acoustic Trio, guitar and bassed for punk-soul demons The Grey Cats, co-founded songwriters' collective Tag Team Productions in LA and the Lee Manor Jammers in London, and has graced stages from LA's Bla-Bla Café and Palomino Club all the way to some of London's finest music venues and festivals, like People's Day, Party In The Park, the Kaleidoscope Festival, the Riverfront Jazz Festival (Greenwich).

He's sung background vocals for Joan Baez , sat in with acapella doo-wop group, the Persuasions, played TV sessions for PBS, and spent many years and 10,000+ hours as house producer/arranger/bassist for The Songwriters Guild Songshop in Hollywood.

TUTOR MAKES HOUSE CALLS:

Baz is happy to take on new guitar students one-to-one or small groups at any level, whether you want to work toward exams, just have fun, or raise your game.

You practice, he'll show you patience, not to mention technique, and a few tricks along the way. And he comes to you.

If you're a beginner, a couple of weeks of chords and a simple scale or two and you're into playing songs.

Intermediate players who can already navigate the neck and strings a bit may be ready for a change of tutor and want to actually understand what they're playing - not just read or copy something.

If you've been playing on your own for a bit and suddenly find yourself in a band with bass and keyboards and/or other guitarists, you may need to learn things about playing arrangements in an ensemble, or creating parts for original material - Baz can help.
